The fear of snow is known as Chionophobia. When someone fears snow, they may do so for a variety of reasons: from fear of frostbite and hypothermia, to a strong distaste for being out and about when there has been snowfall…there can be many triggers and explanations for this phobia.
It may seem hard to imagine that anyone could fear snow. At it’s most basic element it is simply water. That being said there are those who suffer deeply from this snow fear known as Chionophobia.
